December 10, 2012 - Airport officials tell James Bruggers of the Courier Journal that any tree cutting around Bowman Field won't likely happen until 2014. (See: Watchdog Earth post of 12-10-12) December 2, 2012 - Residents of Drayton Drive are planting low-growing trees (30 foot maximum heigth) in anticipation of changes to the area's tree canopy from the Bowman Field Area Safety Program. The arboretum project is a joint effort with Ecotech and arborist Mike Hayman.
